Jay Servidio founder and CEO Teleteria discusses Marketing For Your Small Business

Every day I hear stories of small business owners and web site owners sinking deeper and deeper into debt and all to pay the fees of full-service marketing firms that promise the world but often deliver only minimal results. Some stories have the bills as much as thousands and sometimes tens of thousands of dollars a month. I am tired of seeing the little guy taken advantage of. I teach and mentor all of our clients that they need to learn online marketing themselves. I suggest they spend 1-2 hours a day creating back links and articles. Once the client gets a handle on the process it can actually become fun.

Since I started Teleteria I have had ample experience dealing with the big marketing companies and have had my share of money go down the drain. Since I have taken the power back in my own hands and learned the basics and some advanced online marketing practices I feel a lot better about it. There are some aspects, mostly repetitive aspects of online marketing that I do outsource and share those companies with our clients. However the learning experience one can acquire from spending time understanding the subject can be quite fascinating. It’s a very interesting subject since every new lesson increases your revenue stream and profits.

At Teleteria we explain to our clients that there are so many tools that people can be using on their own and saving themselves a lot of money in the long run. Once of the problems is that very few other companies want to tell them that. We try to change that here and put the client first. A client who profits off of their site is a long term client who will build more sites and refer us to others. A client who does not profit off of their first site is a failed client who finds the experience unpleasant and frustrating. That client not only will not refer others but will give you bad presses every chance he gets.

The internet has given people the opportunity to work from home or on the road or anywhere they travel and make great profits. It gives us the real freedom to enjoy our lives and do what we want to do and go where we want to go instead of spending every waking minute trying to chase dollars. Unless you have the knowledge of how to use the internet to market your product you will not get the maximum experience. You will miss out on this revolution unfolding before I very eyes.
